The emptiness that is the sea drowns me
I am left to float alone
Is there a peace surrounding?
Or just my broken bones?
The grave threatens to lure me
I can’t face the unknown
Will the waves hold me captive?
Can I be set free from this hell?
The sun is my only hope
But I feel no warmth on my skin
Save me from this dark death giver of life
Give me a reason to breathe again
