“Being A Survivor…” — OutloudKaren

Tuesday is one of those days that I find very little solace in. It doesn’t really stand for anything. It isn’t the beginning of the week. It isn’t the end of the week. It isn’t even the middle of the week! It just…is. Not to mention that I’m sick and then you have the makings of a really cruddy day.

BUT…

As I think about it, Tuesdays are actually quite exciting. Why? It’s the day before our entries to the “Finding Who We Are” series are posted. Which also means that I get to share with you a piece of our featured author’s work before their post goes live tomorrow!

Yay, excitement!

This week we are honored to feature Karen Vanbenschoten. She and I have been following each other for some time now and I have greatly appreciated getting to know her as a friend and as a writer. She spends much of her time working for mental health awareness, as well as talking about her struggles with depression, anxiety, and loving God.
