Confessions

I want to share something with you tonight. I try to share my heart every time I write and every time I post photographs. Tonight, I want to continue doing that but this time with a little added emphasis.

These are, as you’ll gather, pictures of my parents, sisters, cousins, and grandparents through the years. These are also the people who God blessed me with and provided for me. God used every single one of these people to remind me of the value of life through some of my darkest, most hopeless moments. They were there when I thought of death. They were there when I was at my lowest and when I was at my highest. I want this blog post, as minuscule as it may be, to be my way of honoring their love and loyalty. I also want to share a huge piece of who I am with you, my friends and readers.

To my family,

Words, nor pictures, can accurately sum up the depths of my love for each of you. I hope you know this and I hope that you’re reminded of this every time we speak. You are so incredibly valuable. Here’s to you…
