Be Still My Soul

Groaning underneath the weight of failure,

(Be still my soul)

Yearning for my heart to know the Savior;

(Be still my soul)

What does it mean to enter into rest?

(Be still my soul)

When all of your doubts become distress?

(Be still my soul)

Let the guilt be washed away

(Be still my soul)

and His grace become your strength;

(Be still my soul)

You are not defined by what you were

(Be still my soul)

but of His love you are assured;

(Be still my soul)

His mercy is true to open your eyes,

(Be still my soul)

You be faithful to give up these lies;

(Be still my soul)

He knows, for you, that which is best;

So, be still my soul

And rest.
