Ladies and gentleman,
This is the news you’ve been dying to hear.
Are you ready? It’s going to be huge.
For the last few weeks, I’ve been working closely with a very good friend of mine. His name is Lee Bottoms and he has a growing business that specializes in graphic design.
Here’s a brief description of his business!
“Nature, traveling, film and good food are a few experiences from which artist Lee Bottoms pulls his inspiration. Through the years the list of his creative interests has only grown, ranging from drawing to photography to interior design, which made choosing a major in college very difficult for him. Lee earned a Graphic Design degree with a minor in Photography from Liberty University in 2014 and has kept a steady stream of freelance work since including commissioned drawings, wedding photography and album art for musicians. You can see more of this multifaceted artist’s work on instagram (@bobbylee58) and Behance.com/bobbyleebottoms.”
With all of that said, he has been working very hard for me and has designed two incredible logos for the Confessions brand! Both of which I plan on unveiling here for you! These logos will be used all over the page and will begin to appear on t-shirts, wristbands, and other giveaway items that I decide to, well, give away! Are you ready? Here they are!
This next logo will be used as the Confessions symbol. We wanted to go with something that would be incredibly recognizable and would stand out amongst all of the other symbols out there. I fully believe that Lee has hit the nail on the head!
I couldn’t be happier with what Lee has come up for us and encourage you all to contact him for any graphic needs! He’s affordable and does, as you have seen, quality work!
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL
In fact, we have three other pieces of huge news to share with you.
1.) For a few months now I’ve been looking to add another author to the Confessions team. I’ve been doing all of the writing for the last year and a half and wanted to branch out in terms of style and quality. I began my search and after a few months found a new author! My good friend Devin Purgason is coming on board to handle our “Through Photography” branch. He and I have worked closely together over the last year and you’ll remember him from my two-part story “Confessions through Photography.” He’s an incredible photographer and will be contributing some incredible material. Keep your eyes out for an intro post and his soon coming contributions!
2.) As you can see, I’ve been busy with updating the page and imagining new ways to push Confessions forward. Obviously, we have the new branding and authors but I also wanted to let you know that we have updated our “About” pages. These have been under construction for a while now but I feel that where they are now best represents who we are. You can find full bios for our authors, a contact page, and a “Who we are” page under the “About Confessions” dropdown tab. Happy exploring!
3.) Lastly, I’ve begun brainstorming new ideas for a short story! It’s been a while since I’ve tried my hand at writing short stories but I’m excited to jump back into the fray! While you wait, be sure to check out my last 8-part short story, Stranded. (Click the link.)
Well, that’s all the HUGE news I have for you now. Confessions just recently tipped the 20,000 view mark and I couldn’t be more excited for the future of this blog. I love reading your blogs, interacting with you all and can’t say enough how thankful I am for all of you as my friends. You’re not my readers. You’re not my supporters. You’re my friends. I’m so blessed to know all of you and if you’re new to the blog, welcome! I can’t wait to get to know you as well!
Have a great day!
