Do I Have Your Attention Now?

Good evening, my friends…

I’m doing something a little differently tonight due to circumstances…My heart is incredibly heavy and I didn’t think typed words could convey the emotions I’m dealing with…

Down below you will find a link to my Facebook where you will see a video I just recorded…In it I discuss what’s on my heart and I end up singing/playing a song that I wrote.

It’s a public video so you should be permitted to see it. If not, add me and then you will.

My friends, you never know who’s going through something so don’t be afraid to speak up and share your heart. I hope you find peace, love, and hope through this.

    I’m so sorry for your loss Matthew. We have to dig deeper to make sure that those who are hurting know that they can talk to us. Your song was such a beautiful tribute

    I am so sorry about your friend!
    You are so right, we don`t ever really know, what`s going on in somebody else`s mind and heart. We can ask how they are, but we cannot always know is their answer the truth.
    This is unfortunately a familiar thing for me as well. It really hits hard, and makes you question, why, what… could I… And nothing of those questions really helps.

    Give yourself time to grief ❤

        I know. Sometimes something hits us so much, that words go missing. But maybe you can sing, write, take photos…and just to be with someone dear. Silent talking.

    First, I’m sorry for your loss. I similarly lost a childhood acquaintance two years ago and understand the way it comes at you.
    And it is that understanding that compels me to ask you-engage in self-care.
    If you need to lose yourself in prayer, do so. But remember that your body will not survive without food and water. If you need to cry and scream, or stay silent and breathe, do so. But remember that suppressing how you feel will not help you in the long run.
    And as you are able, continue to speak. Because, as the saying goes, “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”
    My thoughts go out to you, my heart grieves with you. I’ll light a candle in remembrance tonight.

        I am glad to help. Having been on both sides of this particular topic, I know it’s hard and it’s not easily reconciled with logic. That’s where love comes in.
