The Church and Depression: The One Thing They Have in Common — For the Benefit of the Church

As a Christian and someone who has suffered/suffers from depressive episodes, I have an incredible passion for educating the Church of God on the topic of Mental Disorders. I believe that we, as a body of believers, have done too little in the order of sharing hope to the hopeless. This is why I have written this article for my good friend, Briley.

Where has the Church gone wrong in aiding those who suffer from mental disorders? What did Jesus do and say about these kinds of illnesses? I hope to answer these questions in the article linked below.

When you are finished reading this article, if you missed out on the first part of a new, comedic short story I posted, you can check it out here:ย The Dastardly Adventures of Bard, the Disgruntled Elf: Part Iย Part II will be available tomorrow!

I hope that this post finds you being able to relax on this Saturday, in American time at least. If it does not, I sincerely hope that wherever you are, you will feel the love of Christ deeply.

You are loved.

You are valued.
