Finding Who YOU Are

The older I get, the more content I become with allowing the journey to happen. Instead of rushing life, I want to be creating a story.

I’ve said it many times here: Confessions is a place where you get to be heard. I’ve spent the last few years telling my own story, but now I feel that my focus needs to shift.

For the last few months, I’ve had guest authors contributing weekly to the “Finding Who We Are” project. Every week, for the last two months, an individual carves out their own chunk web space with their story. They have an opportunity to reach people with hope who may otherwise have never had it.

It’s your time to be as honest as you want. You can write what you want, say how you feel. You have a chance to let the world see what it’s like to live with a mental disorder. Not only do you raise awareness for Mental Illnesses, you get to be a piece of hope and life.

“Finding Who We Are” is all about embracing the journey and bringing others along with you.

Here’s what I need…YOU.

I can’t do this without you. I know that you would be apter to respond if I personally contacted you, but that’s difficult on my end. Sometimes I can’t find an email address or I may not get a response. Here’s where you step in…

Send me an email with your desire to write for the series. Make sure you put your name and the name of your blog in it so I know who’s contacting me. From that point, I will send you more information and I’ll get you scheduled!

Don’t think that your story isn’t enough. EVERY person has something to say that is of worth. You have a life laced with inherent value and your words could be the catalyst to someone choosing to keep their life.

I know it’s scary, but it’s worth it. Every person that has written a piece has expressed a deep gratitude for being allowed to get it off of their shoulders. I’ve also seen the effect on reader’s lives as well.

Right now I have slots scheduled until the second week of February. After that is free space. I would love to see this series last all year long. Will you help me accomplish my our goal of raising awareness for Mental Health?

Send the email…You know you want to.

After you’ve sent me the email, subscribe to the Confessions Newsletter. It’s a super secret club full of information you won’t get here. It’s going to be worth it.

I hope that you have all had a wonderful week.

You are loved.

You are valued.
